Stump Pass beach State Park is located on Florida's west coast at the southern tip of Manasota Key near Englewood. The southern most point of the park is shallow water flats with a pond that forms during the rainy season. storms and heavy rains during the winter months have opened a wide channel that has united the pond with the bay to the east. To the west lies the Gulf of mexico. On this morning thunderstorms were building out over the Gulf.
My true passion is photography. Since I am not good at drawing or painting photography really lets my creative side loose. Originally from Rochester, New York, I've called Florida home for almost 40 years. Other interests include hiking, traveling and especially cruising. These activities are always finding me new things to photograph. My photographic philosophy is to show people things they pass everyday but never notice.
