This is just one of many dead trees in Stump pass beach State park on Florida's west coast. Years of erosion and salt water intrusion have killed a great many trees in the park. This photo is in color even though it appears to be monochrome (note the shells at the top of the shot). I think the trunk looks like sand dunes and there may be a dragon hiding in there as well.
My true passion is photography. Since I am not good at drawing or painting photography really lets my creative side loose. Originally from Rochester, New York, I've called Florida home for almost 40 years. Other interests include hiking, traveling and especially cruising.
