We drove through the Smoky Mountains a=on a rainy day a few years ago.While the rain and clouds made driving hazardous and hid some spectacular views, there were still photos to be taken. This is a view from the Pigsah National Forest during a small break from the rain. Low clouds hang over the mountains in the background showing why they are called the Smoky Mountains.
My true passion is photography. Since I am not good at drawing or painting photography really lets my creative side loose. Originally from Rochester, New York, I've called Florida home for almost 40 years. Other interests include hiking, traveling and especially cruising. These activities are always finding me new things to photograph. My photographic philosophy is to show people things they pass everyday but never notice.
