West Blalock Park in Venice, Florida serves as an arboretum. A variety of trees and bushes are identified with signs giving information on each. In December local groups hang lights and decorations throughout the park. These passion flowers are growing in the park’s butterfly garden.

My true passion is photography. Since I am not good at drawing or painting photography really lets my creative side loose. Originally from Rochester, New York, I've called Florida home for almost 40 years. Other interests include hiking, traveling and especially cruising. These activities are always finding me new things to photograph. My photographic philosophy is to show people things they pass everyday but never notice.
