This is The Arcade in Arcadia, Florida. Built during the 1920 land boom, The Arcade has housed a number of businesses including a post office, dime store, and restaurants. The large pink building sits across from The Opera House and is now home to several restaurants.
My true passion is photography. Since I am not good at drawing or painting photography really lets my creative side loose. Originally from Rochester, New York, I've called Florida home for almost 40 years. Other interests include hiking, traveling and especially cruising. These activities are always finding me new things to photograph. My photographic philosophy is to show people things they pass everyday but never notice.
