During the summer months in florida thunderstorms are n almost daily occurence. They are usually fast moving and are gone as quick as they appear. This is one such storm moving toward Tampa's Ybor City. There were frequent flashes of lightning and rain on the horizon, but it stayed dry where I was.

My true passion is photography. Since I am not good at drawing or painting photography really lets my creative side loose. Originally from Rochester, New York, I've called Florida home for almost 40 years. Other interests include hiking, traveling and especially cruising. These activities are always finding me new things to photograph. My photographic philosophy is to show people things they pass everyday but never notice.
