This snail shell was found in a clearing in the woods in Myakka River State Park in Sarasota, Florida. I think the snail might have been dead as this was in an unusual spot. It was a very big snail.

My true passion is photography. Since I am not good at drawing or painting photography really lets my creative side loose. Originally from Rochester, New York, I've called Florida home for almost 40 years. Other interests include hiking, traveling and especially cruising.
