Grand Turk in the Turks and Ciaicos is a very popular cruise destination. Just off the pier is a beach free for use by cruisers. Down the coast a bit is Governor's beach. One can grab a tqxi or rent a vehicle for the trip, but we hiked. It;s only a mile a so.

This is the sight tht greets visitors, an old freightrer, the Mega One Triton, that was washed ashore in 2012 by Hurricane Sandy, To many the rusting hulk i an eyesore. To me it was a thing o beauty, a stark contrast to the winte sand and blue water of the island.

My true passion is photography. Since I am not good at drawing or painting photography really lets my creative side loose. Originally from Rochester, New York, I've called Florida home for almost 40 years. Other interests include hiking, traveling and especially cruising. These activities are always finding me new things to photograph. My photographic philosophy is to show people things they pass everyday but never notice.
