Sarasota is located on Florida's west coast south of Tampa. This is a view of Sarasota Bay from Ken Thompson Park on City Island. On any given day a host of sailboats can be seen moored in the bay, This is the dingy from one of those sailboats.

My true passion is photography. Since I am not good at drawing or painting photography really lets my creative side loose. Originally from Rochester, New York, I've called Florida home for almost 40 years. Other interests include hiking, traveling and especially cruising. These activities are always finding me new things to photograph. My photographic philosophy is to show people things they pass everyday but never notice.
