A private boats passes under an open railroad bridge in Bradenton, Florida. The bascule stule bridge is unmanned and will automatically close if a train approaches. Clearance under the bridge is just five feet so the bridge is normally left in the open position. The tracks here cross the Manatee River.

My true passion is photography. Since I am not good at drawing or painting photography really lets my creative side loose. Originally from Rochester, New York, I've called Florida home for almost 40 years. Other interests include hiking, traveling and especially cruising.
