Now and then I capture a shot that truly pleases me. This is one of them. I was just hoping to catch this palm tree against an overcast sky. I ended up with interesting patterns. One frond with a zipper like appearance. Fronds that seem connected. Such a simple thing with such an exciting look.
My true passion is photography. Since I am not good at drawing or painting photography really lets my creative side loose. Originally from Rochester, New York, I've called Florida home for almost 40 years. Other interests include hiking, traveling and especially cruising. These activities are always finding me new things to photograph. My photographic philosophy is to show people things they pass everyday but never notice.
