Most folks think of tall straight trees when visualizing a palm tree. Some are indeed straight and tall. Others develop curves to avoid obstacles or get more sun.

Not sure why this particular tree decided to curve. I found it on the Sarasota Bayfront on Florida’s west coast.

My true passion is photography. Since I am not good at drawing or painting photography really lets my creative side loose. Originally from Rochester, New York, I've called Florida home for almost 40 years. Other interests include hiking, traveling and especially cruising.
