Our spiral notebooks are 6" x 8" in size and include 120 pages which are lined on both sides. The artwork is printed on the front cover which is made of thick paper stock, and the back cover is medium gray in color. The inside of the back cover includes a pocket for storing extra paper and pens.

We were in New Orleans in July of 2005. There were a couple cops on horse back keeping an eye on the crowd. Bourbon Street is busy even on a weeknight in July. My wife wanted a picture and I saw no reason to take one. It was dark. It was just two cops on horses. Finally I relented after we had already passed them. I took this shot over my shoulder without really looking. Imagine my surprise when I opened it up on my computer. It was dark, very dark and I was using a crappy little camera, but this came out. I converted it to black and white because the lighting was so bad and then added in a few highlights.
My true passion is photography. Since I am not good at drawing or painting photography really lets my creative side loose. Originally from Rochester, New York, I've called Florida home for almost 40 years. Other interests include hiking, traveling and especially cruising. These activities are always finding me new things to photograph. My photographic philosophy is to show people things they pass everyday but never notice.
