A surfer makes his way over the rocks of the North Jetty in Venice, Florida. It is not often that there are waves big enough to surf on Florida's west coast, so when the surf is up the surfers come out. Some will brave the rocks as a shortcut to deeper water beyond the breakers,

My true passion is photography. Since I am not good at drawing or painting photography really lets my creative side loose. Originally from Rochester, New York, I've called Florida home for almost 40 years. Other interests include hiking, traveling and especially cruising. These activities are always finding me new things to photograph. My photographic philosophy is to show people things they pass everyday but never notice.
