Artist's Description

South Florida has an iguana problem. The invasive creatures thrive in the tropical climate and are becoming more than just an annoyance. Some areas, such as Boca Grande, have undertaken major efforts to get rid of the pests. Still, the lizards survive and the population has been moving north. This iguana was found along a pathway in Placida, Florida. There were several of them of different sizes and breeds.

About Robert Wilder Jr

Robert Wilder Jr

My true passion is photography. Since I am not good at drawing or painting photography really lets my creative side loose. Originally from Rochester, New York, I've called Florida home for almost 40 years. Other interests include hiking, traveling and especially cruising. These activities are always finding me new things to photograph. My photographic philosophy is to show people things they pass everyday but never notice. I look forward to your feedback as I am still growing as a photographer and will never be done learning.
