The warm Florida sun lets the birds leave their eggs alone while they eat or chase off predators This nest is at the southern tip of Stump Pass Beach State Park in Charlotte County, Florida. The nesting area of these endangered birds is roped off to keep people away. The terns will also challenge anyone that gets too close to the ropes.
My true passion is photography. Since I am not good at drawing or painting photography really lets my creative side loose. Originally from Rochester, New York, I've called Florida home for almost 40 years. Other interests include hiking, traveling and especially cruising. These activities are always finding me new things to photograph. My photographic philosophy is to show people things they pass everyday but never notice.
