While winters in Florida may not be like winter in the north, the temperature can still be low. At least to locals. Some may wander down to the beach, it is almost ingrained to head to the beach, to watch the waves, but few brave the cold water. Tourists, on the other hand, seem to be used to the cold and wade right in. I added some grain to this photo to better capture the feeling of the cold.

My true passion is photography. Since I am not good at drawing or painting photography really lets my creative side loose. Originally from Rochester, New York, I've called Florida home for almost 40 years. Other interests include hiking, traveling and especially cruising. These activities are always finding me new things to photograph. My photographic philosophy is to show people things they pass everyday but never notice.
