Willemstad, the capital of the island country of Curacao is a popular tourist destination. It is known for its colorful buildings. Though much of the area known as Punda, this is true. Across the Sint Anabaai is Otrabanda. While this area is seeing revitalization, the further one gets from the waterway the sketchier the neighborhoods become. This building is just down the alley from the Basilica Santa Ana. the area is covered with graffiti and the odor of urine is strong, a shrp contrast to the beautiful Basilica.
