The Gulf of Mexico is relatively calm most of the time. About the only time there are big waves is during a storm. Still, there are plenty of surfers waiting for those waves, When a tropical srtorm or hurricane is threatening the surfers come out to brave the weather. This boogie boarder sits on the wave created drop off watching the waves and surfers off Venice Beach.
My true passion is photography. Since I am not good at drawing or painting photography really lets my creative side loose. Originally from Rochester, New York, I've called Florida home for almost 40 years. Other interests include hiking, traveling and especially cruising.
