A vacation in the mountains of North Carolina was dampened by rain. The glorious sights we expected to see along the Blue Ridge Parkway were shrouded in ran clouds. We saw little that day. When we stopped for lunch the clouds parted and I found this flower waiting to be seen. I took her photo, thanked her and we went on our way.
My true passion is photography. Since I am not good at drawing or painting photography really lets my creative side loose. Originally from Rochester, New York, I've called Florida home for almost 40 years. Other interests include hiking, traveling and especially cruising. These activities are always finding me new things to photograph. My photographic philosophy is to show people things they pass everyday but never notice.
