As one approaches the Sunshine Skyway Bridge in Tampa By, Florida, there are often colorful kites dancing above the water. These are not children's toys, but kites used by surfers. They catch the wind and pull the surfers across the waves.

My true passion is photography. Since I am not good at drawing or painting photography really lets my creative side loose. Originally from Rochester, New York, I've called Florida home for almost 40 years. Other interests include hiking, traveling and especially cruising. These activities are always finding me new things to photograph. My photographic philosophy is to show people things they pass everyday but never notice.
