Just a collection of seashells on the beach at Stump Pass Beach State Park in Englewood, Florida. The park is a huge attraction for locals and visitors alike. Most days one must be there at opening to get a parking spot. It offers natural beaches accessible by boardwalk, trail or boat. On weekends it is no unusual to see many boats anchored offshore on beached.
Erosion and salt water intrusion has killed most of the big trees in the park and only a few dead snags remain. Hurricane Ian added to the process and no tall living trees are left.
My true passion is photography. Since I am not good at drawing or painting photography really lets my creative side loose. Originally from Rochester, New York, I've called Florida home for almost 40 years. Other interests include hiking, traveling and especially cruising. These activities are always finding me new things to photograph. My photographic philosophy is to show people things they pass everyday but never notice.
