I have a confession to make. This photo is an error and I cannot explain how it happened. It started out as a simple photo of a trail through the palms of Stump Pass Beach State Park in southwest Florida. Somehow during the transfer from camera to computer part of the photo was duplicated and flipped. The odd thing is the resulting photo is the same size as the original. I decided to keep it because of the patterns caused by the error between the two trees that are actually one.

My true passion is photography. Since I am not good at drawing or painting photography really lets my creative side loose. Originally from Rochester, New York, I've called Florida home for almost 40 years. Other interests include hiking, traveling and especially cruising. These activities are always finding me new things to photograph. My photographic philosophy is to show people things they pass everyday but never notice.
