Boat houses are common along the shores of bays and inland waterways across Florida. They protect boats from the sun and can be used to raise boats up out of the water. Docks connect the boat houses to the shore for access by owners. This boat house, located in Sarasota Bay on the Florida's west coast has seen better days. The dock was long fallen into the water though the abandoned boat house still stands.
My true passion is photography. Since I am not good at drawing or painting photography really lets my creative side loose. Originally from Rochester, New York, I've called Florida home for almost 40 years. Other interests include hiking, traveling and especially cruising.
