Description
Florida has a dry season (winter) and a rainy season (summer). This is a view of Myakka River State Park in early spring. The water level is low. After the summer rains this entire area might be under water. In fact the park is often closed due to flooding in late summer. Even with the low water level gators are frequently spotted in this area. There is at least one in this shot.
