Nothing can spoil an outing like rain. Of course, if one is not willing to let a moment slip away, there is always something to be found that will interest and inspire. This is the result of one such moment. An autumn leaf on a wet sidewalk in the rain. Most would pass by without ever seeing it.

That is sad. For there is so much to see here. the veins as they branch out. The ripples caused by rain drops. The flash of yellow among the browns and oranges.
