Honeymoon Island State Park is located off the west coast of Florida in Dunedin. It offers over four miles of white sand beaches and miles of hiking trails. It is home to a host of wildlife including eagles, ospreys and owls. This visit was a cold day by Florida standards so the beaches were pretty much void of people. The boardwalk offers a path to the beach without damaging the dunes vital to the island ecology.
My true passion is photography. Since I am not good at drawing or painting photography really lets my creative side loose. Originally from Rochester, New York, I've called Florida home for almost 40 years. Other interests include hiking, traveling and especially cruising. These activities are always finding me new things to photograph. My photographic philosophy is to show people things they pass everyday but never notice.
