Florida and palm trees. One can hardly think of one without the other. Here is a palm tree caught in a little breeze. Such breezes are common in the state close to the coasts. This was on the west coast in Punta Gorda at the mouth of Charlotte Harbor. It is believed Ponce de Leon made camp near here.
