Florida is known for its palm trees. Of course we have lots of other trees and flora. This is one example. This was taken within Myakka River State Park just outside Sarasota, Florida.

My true passion is photography. Since I am not good at drawing or painting photography really lets my creative side loose. Originally from Rochester, New York, I've called Florida home for almost 40 years. Other interests include hiking, traveling and especially cruising. These activities are always finding me new things to photograph. My photographic philosophy is to show people things they pass everyday but never notice.
