The beaches on Florida's east coast are very different from those on the west coast. The sand is a different color and consistency and the waves are bigger. One thing that is the same is afternoon storms on summer days. This is a beach on Anastasia island just after a storm has passed.
My true passion is photography. Since I am not good at drawing or painting photography really lets my creative side loose. Originally from Rochester, New York, I've called Florida home for almost 40 years. Other interests include hiking, traveling and especially cruising. These activities are always finding me new things to photograph. My photographic philosophy is to show people things they pass everyday but never notice.
