Description
In October of 2017 Hurricane Nate formed and moved north through the gulf of Mexico. While it never posed a threat of landfall on the west coast of Florida, its effects were felt. Gusty winds and a storm surge brought high waves and minor flooding to the coast. This is Bayfront Park in Sarasota. High tide meant the bay waters flowed over the sea wall and docks of the marina.
A small dinghy is splashed by wind driven waves as palm trees and condos fill in a tropical background.
